CES 2023 – AI-Based Driver and Occupant Monitoring

Seeing Machines Limited is demonstrating its AI-powered immersive sensing technology at CES 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 5 through 7. The immersive technology demonstrations will be held by appointment at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino and in a demo car, showcasing software and algorithm developments for its FOVIO driver and occupant monitoring system (DMS/OMS) solutions. They will also integrate into a range of Tier 1 customer and partner demonstrations, which they will also showcase at CES, including Magna, Ambarella and Autobrains, and Analog Devices.

The company uses advanced machine vision technology to precisely measure and analyze head pose, eyelid movements, and eye gaze under a full spectrum of demanding lighting conditions, including through sunglasses. This data is processed to interpret driver attention state, focus, drowsiness, and impairment levels to provide critical inputs in real-time to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and vehicle cockpit, comfort, and convenience systems.
