Advanced fiber optic connectivity solutions at FTTH Conference
As demand for full-fiber networks continues to grow exponentially, INNO Instrument, global developer of leading optical communications products and testing solutions, will present its most powerful and innovative fusion splicers at FTTH Conference 2019. The technology showcase at booth G03 will include exclusive demonstration of two yet-to-be launched products, including a new clad alignment splicer and a new live port OTDR.
These will join the INNO Instrument Inc. View 12R and View 7 fusion splicers which provide record-breaking magnification rates.
This addresses the need for fibers to be spliced in a highly-visible environment with optimal lighting and magnification to ensure fast and precise connectivity. With View 12R, splice time can be reduced to a matter of seconds, boosting efficiency for operators and saving valuable time when rolling out Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks.
Chad Han President of INNO Instrument Europe, said: “For many operators, full fiber networks are the access technology of choice when it comes to meeting consumer demand for faster, high-capacity networks which can support growing trends such as the connected home, Virtual Reality and high-bandwidth business applications.
“To ensure these FTTH installations are efficient and reliable, fiber optic cables need to be spliced or connected quickly and efficiently, and the right conditions, including light and magnification, are paramount to this.”
The INNO Instrument fusion splicers were designed with ease and precision in mind with a record high magnification rate of 250x on the View 12R and LED lighting to enable ultimate control during installation.
Allowing for efficient and high-quality installation on site, the View 7 features a double-tapping screen to magnify the image of the fiber for maximum visibility and ease of application. This speeds up the process of connectivity during installation making it an efficient and fast process without compromising on precision and quality.
For even faster performance the View 12R is designed to splice up to 12 fibers simultaneously and is completed in a matter of seconds. The combination of a user friendly, smart Guided User Interface (GUI) and a five inch touch screen makes this fusion splicer a valuable model for saving time during installation.
Han added: “FTTH installations can be difficult and labor intensive with the need to extend an entire line of cable over a long distance to reach homes. These fiber cables need to be spliced and connected with precision and accuracy in a timely manner.
“The INNO Instrument portfolio is designed to increase the speed at which FTTH installations can become a reality across the world. We look forward to showcasing our full range of industry leading connectivity solutions with attendees of FTTH Conference.”
INNO Instrument will showcase the View 12R and View 7 splicers alongside its entire portfolio, including, View 900 cable antenna analyzer, View 500 OTDR, MINI2 OTDR.
INNO Instrument can be found at booth G03, 12th to 14th of March, RAI Amsterdam, Europaplein, 1078 GZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
