The Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association (NEDAS), an association of in-building wireless solution providers including Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell professionals, Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) solutions and end-users throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, announces the agenda for its second Toronto Symposium, set to take place on 25th October.
NEDAS has assembled a comprehensive program that will allow attendees to learn about new developments within the in-building wireless industry. These workshops include “Overview, Challenges and Trends of Deploying the Toronto Subway System,” presented by Ken Ranger, BAI Canada; “Thinking Outside The Box – Spherical RF Lens Technology For High Capacity Venues,” presented by Marc Landry, Gap Wireless; “oDAS and Small Cell Deployment in the Right of Way,” presented by Josh Broder, Tilson; “Alternative Power on the Tower,” presented by Donald William, M-TriGen Power Generation; “The Evolution of Wireless Networks,” presented by Lance Craft, Dali Wireless; and “DAS and Small Cells: In the Field with Enterprises and Public Safety,” presented by Arnold Kim, ADRF.
Concluding the day will be a series of Lightning Talks, which are five-minute presentations given by attendee on topics relevant to the NEDAS audience. After the workshops, attendees can continue to discuss the development of the Het-Net ecosystem and develop new relationships with industry-leading professionals at the networking reception.
“This year’s NEDAS Toronto Symposium offers a plethora of presentations concerning real-world applications of Het-Net solutions,” comments Ilissa Miller, President, Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association. “Following last year’s well-attended inaugural event, we’re happy to return to Toronto as the in-building wireless market continues to expand throughout North America.”
Consistent with all NEDAS produced events, NEDAS has carefully vetted all attendees, sponsors and presentations to ensure that maximum value is achieved. Our event sponsors include Alliance Corporation, Corning, Gap Wireless, Hutton, PCTEL, SOLiD and more.
