Apple, Amazon and Google are the leading companies in the artificial intelligence (AI) theme, according to the latest Thematic Scorecard for the consumer electronics sector from GlobalData, a data and analytics company.
The three companies all gained the highest Thematic score (five out of five) in GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard for the consumer electronics sector. A Thematic score of five out of five indicates that the theme will significantly improve their future performance.
On their tail, with scores of four out of five, are Microsoft, Alibaba, Sony, iRobot, Hikvision, Facebook, Samsung, Seiko Epson and Lenovo.
GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard ranks companies within a sector on the basis of overall leadership in the ten themes that matter most to their industry, generating a leading indicator of future earnings growth.
