San Diego based Chassis Plans has closed acquisition deal with Israeli defense technology company, Aeronautics. This new ownership will enable the San Diego company to expand its global reach for its rugged computer systems to defense and industrial customers.
Chassis Plans’ rugged and custom solutions for computer hardware and displays aims to provide Aeronautics with complete end to end solutions for its integrated products in the US and throughout its global operations.
Michael McCormack, CEO and President of Chassis Plans, stated: “In return, this acquisition gives Chassis Plans access to Aeronautics’ global markets, investment in new products, infrastructure and to leverage their supply chain, so that Chassis Plans can provide better support and value to its customers. Chassis Plans will be staying in our San Diego offices and plans on expanding its product offering and services on a global basis.”
Aeronautics provides innovative to the defense products markets through its Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) solutions. As one of the largest defense companies in Israel, Aeronautics reportedly sees its acquisition of Chassis Plans as a perfect fit to its portfolio of companies.
Aeronautics CEO Amos Matan, added: “The acquisition of Chassis Plans enables us to operate in the US and get combined orders from both Israel and US customers. Aeronautics plans to utilize its global marketing and sales infrastructure for the acquired company’s products, and also to expand Chassis Plans’ activity.”
