If you often battle those around when it comes to temperature control, consider Evapolar and maintain your ideal climate on a personal level.
Evapolar is a portable desktop personal air-conditioner that cools you off while also acting as a humidifier and air purifier.
The portable device doesn’t cool like your typical air-conditioner does by producing a strong cold air thread. Instead it spreads coolness smoothly, similar to how air is cooled in nature.
The device uses a cooling technology that works on the power of water evaporation and employs an evaporative nanomaterial based on mineral fibers. It absorbs large quantities of water to ensure intensive evaporation from its surface. Using this material allowed the company to reduce the size of the device, making it about one-tenth the size of a conventional air conditioner.
According to the Evapolar Indiegogo campaign page:
“The main goal for us was to develop a device that is not just safe to use but absolutely eco-friendly. Evapolar doesn’t need Freon or any other toxic coolant. Our evaporative materials are easily recyclable and don’t deal any harm to the environment. Moreover, we managed to make it totally organic-free, so you don’t need to worry about any bacteria that usually spread in existing evaporative coolers.”
After three years in the making, the Russian-based team was satisfied with its cooling creation. Now it has launched an Indiegogo campaign in order to raise production funds.
You can pre-order an Evapolar for $149.00 (retail cost $250) on the Evapolor Indiegogo campaign page.
