This Christmas decorate your home with these giant DIY red and green lightsabers

The holidays are upon us and I’m sure those interested in getting into the spirit are pondering their holiday light displays.

Here’s a thought  — why not follow in maker  Bob Clagett’s footsteps and create giant red and green lightsabers.

Clagett likes to tinker with just about everything, including software, websites, tech, and even motorcycles. When he was asked to develop a Star Wars’ themed Christmas display for a company, he incorporated giant lightsabers — then made a DIY video so anyone can join in the festivities.

Materials needed include: black duct tape, silver spray paint, red spray paint, red and green LED spotlights, clear corrugated roofing panel, 12″ x 4′ cardboard concrete form,  and scrap 2×4.
