Maybe you haven’t yet been in a situation where your car needs a jump, but typically it involves getting a set of jumper cables and finding a nice person willing to use their car to help you get it running.
Car batteries die, phone batteries die, and electronics can never be 100% reliable.
Cobra Electronics has just released its Cobra JumPack CPP 8000 for these kind of emergencies.
The device weighs under 10oz. and small enough to take with you on-the-go in a bag, briefcase, or even your pocket.
The compact power pack offers mobile-device charging and vehicle jumpstarting capabilities and can jump a variety of vehicles such as a range of cars, SUVs, motorcycles, and even outboard boat engines multiple times.
The new model also comes with built-in protection circuitry including short circuit protection, reverse charge, over-charge and reverse polarity protection and can hold approximately 85-90% of its charge for up to eight months.
The Cobra JumPack CPP 8000 is available now at AT&T, Best Buy and Cobra.com for a retail price of $119.95.
