It is our pleasure to invite you to the Leading Edge 5G Forum, where leading cyber security experts, authorities and decision-makers from around Europe will give you the answer to these and other 5G cyber security related questions. The forum will be held in Helsinki, Finland – the Nordic hub of technology and design.
The Leading Edge 5G Forum is unique – bringing together all parties who have the power and capability to impact the mission of safeguarding the future digital society in the 2020´s. During the day attendees will hear keynotes from the leaders representing e.g. EU Commission, European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, Vodafone, GSM Association, Cisco, Ericsson and Nokia. The forum is officially opened by the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The Leading Edge 5G Forum draws its topics from the world’s first 5G cyber security hackathon arranged in Oulu, Finland in December. The hackathon attracted 70 cyber security specialists from 15 countries to compete in challenges set by Ericsson, Nokia and the University of Oulu. The hackathon was a great success and benefited all participants, sowing a seed for future collaboration.
As we have entered a new decade – 2020´s making the expansion of 5G-based digital services truly happen – it is time to dive deeper and discuss the essential 5G cyber security themes further and foster the collaboration between different players in the community.
