This year has held exciting developments in the world of Pokémon Go, and Niantic are not about to disappoint. As Halloween approaches, Niantic have some scary surprises in store.

You can now go AR (Augmented Reality) trick-or-treating with Pokémon Go. As you go on the hunt for spooky Pokémon which will be far more common than normal-type Pokémon, you can collect more candies in the process. More treat than trick here.

This limited edition treat will start October 26 and last through November 1. 

Any time you transfer a Pokemon to the Professor, you will receive two Candies instead of one, and your buddy Pokémon will also be more generous and will give you Candy four times faster.

It doesn’t stop there. When you hatch Eggs, you’ll get twice the Candy. It’s time to get walking.
