Harwin announces the latest recipient of its Chairman’s Award
Advanced connector supplier Harwin has just announced the latest recipient of its Chairman’s Award. This is an occasional honor, which Harwin bestows at the personal direction of Chairman, Damon de Laszlo, to recognize individuals within the company’s expansive network of commercial partners who, through the exemplary work that they have done over the course of the last twelve months, made a significant contribution to its long-term growth and prosperity.
Anthony Bruggeman, Technology Business Manager for Interconnects at global distribution firm Digi-Key Electronics, has been confirmed as this year’s winner. This is in acknowledgement of the substantial influence he has had in maintaining the effectiveness of Harwin’s supply chain operation and ensuring that worldwide customer requirements are met in a timely manner. Anthony, who has been a member of the Digi-Key staff for over twenty years, is responsible for compiling detailed stock analytic data for its entire connector related portfolio. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in keeping enough Harwin stock from each product line in the Digi-Key inventory and identifying where there are future opportunities to generate greater sales revenue.
“Together with the other members of the Harwin board, I would like to congratulate Anthony on this award and thank him for his continued efforts to make our supply chain ever more efficient and better able to cope with rising demands. Alongside the rest of the highly-experienced team at Digi-Key, he has helped to strengthen the presence of both our high-reliability and industrial connector offerings in key markets internationally. As a result, Digi-Key holds the position of being Harwin’s number one stocking distributor,” said Damon de Laszlo of Harwin.
“I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious award from Harwin,” added Anthony Bruggeman of Digi-Key. “It will serve to further encourage me and my colleagues to strive harder to achieve even more for Harwin in the year ahead.”
