High CV screw terminal electrolytic capacitors for challenging environments

Now available in Europe through TTI, a specialist distributor of electronic components, are ALS70 and ALS80 series high CV screw terminal electrolytic capacitors from KEMET.

The products are ideal for use in frequency converters, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) in challenging electrical and environmental applications including rail.

The capacitors combine performance with reliability and offer the high CV values in smaller case sizes making them easier and more cost-effective to incorporate in designs. High ripple voltage ratings and long-life performance are further key features of the robust devices.

The capacitors are available with values that span from 300 up to 1,300,000 microfarads and voltages of 25 up to 550VDC. Offset terminals for polarity protection and stud mount versions are available.
