Honda showed off these concept vehicles at the Tokyo Motor Show
Although the Tokyo Motor Show is coming to a close, we can still take a look at some of the outrageous vehicles that were shown off over the past few days. Toyota showed off a hydrogen car concept, Mitsubishi went electric, and Nissan showed off an apple-red 2020 Gran Tourismo.
Along with the other noteworthy car companies, Honda came equipped with a few concepts worth noting. Take a look.
1. Honda Wander Stand
The Wander Stand is equipped with autonomous driving technologies like as the Honda Omni Traction Drive System. The company designed the vehicle as a way of expressing that people can relax and feel secure while being mobile.
2. Honda Wander Walker
The Wander Walker is geared more toward city-folk and entices the user to get outdoors quickly: anytime, anywhere. Honda created the simple design for efficient city mobility.
3. Lightweight Super Sports Concept
This bike has a long nose and low crouching style to generate more speed. It has hard and large surfaces, as well as sharp edges to make it appear more aggressive.
4. EV Cub-Concept
The EV Cub Concept is a personal vehicle designed for short-distances, geared toward the everyday commuter. It’s environmentally friendly with its detachable battery low in the center of the bike. It even has a plug within the leg shield for easy recharging from household power outlets.
5. Super Cub-Concept
Unlike the EV Cub-Concept, the Super Cub is more of a long distance commuting vehicle powered by a highly fuel-efficient engine to maximize travel distance per charge.
6. GROM50 Scrambler Concept-One/Two
The GROM50 Scrambler Concept One, known as the “Neo-retro. Scrambler” is designed with a motorcycle look to attract young riders who want to drive the real thing. The bike is accentuated by its LCD digital meters, has a centrally positioned Honda logo with glowing rim, and uniquely designed LED head light.
The GROM50 Scrambler Concept Two is styled as a modern scrambler. Honda designed it with a compact chassis, configuring seat-supporting rear frame with a lightweight, and high-rigidity monocoque frame.
