The GT-900 instrument tester from Beha-Amprobe is in stock at Conrad Business Supplies. The device is suitable for tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0701-0702 and DGUV provision 3 (BGV A3). Unlike the previous versions GT-600 and GT-800, the new instrument tester allows even faster and easier measurements.
To achieve this, the manufacturer has improved the automatic test function. In addition, transferring the test information from the software to the database of the tester has been revised. This makes it particularly easy to carry out recurrent testing.
Available tests include visual inspection through protective earth resistance measuring; insulation resistance and equivalent leakage current measuring; protective earth current testing according to the differential current method; and touch current and function testing.
The GT-900 also offers enhanced options for customized test procedures.
Users can create up to eight predefined visual inspections and up to 30 individual test steps.
With the new instrument tester, the test procedures can be stored on a USB stick or copied from one tester to another.
The automatic test sequences are preinstalled and are suitable for most devices with protection classes I and II.
Even devices with protection class III can be tested. In addition, the GT-900 offers test sequences for portable residual current circuit breakers, extension leads, multiple sockets and cable reels.
Markus Gebhard, Senior Director Purchasing Strategic Brands at Conrad Business Supplies, explains: “With this portable instrument tester we offer our customers a universal and efficient solution with all the features needed to check portable devices.”
“Professional users want to make sure that all tests can be documented in compliance with standards”, says Stefan Kohler, Marketing Manager at Fluke Germany.
The instrument tester offers integrated USB 2.0 and HID compatible interfaces for transferring measurement results to the PC and the database as well as saving the test information to the tester.
The USB interface can also be used to connect input devices such as keyboards, barcode scanners, memory or Bluetooth devices.
