Colin Furze is no engineer — he’s a plumber, but a plumber who has concocted some crazy inventions in his time as a YouTube sensation.
Some of his past works include a jet bike, a flame-throwing scooter, and a 70-mph scooter.
Now, Furze recruited the help of Ford’s Unlearn Campaign and developed a homemade hoverbike. The bike actually flies and can be controlled forward and backward by distributing your body weight, as well as side to side by placing more weight on a particular foot.
After crowdsourcing ideas for the flying machine, along with a lot of trial and error, Furze’s hoverbike is complete and actually flies.
