New restaurant 3D-prints everything on the menu
Tired of the traditional restaurant experience? Well there’s a more futuristic one coming your way.
Food Ink is a pop-up dinner series so it will world premier in London where a nine-course dinner will be fully 3D-printed live by an international team of chefs, artists and technologists, but is set to head to other locations like Berlin, Dubai, Seoul, Rome, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto, NYC, Taipei, and Las Vegas, so keep an eye open.
“At Food Ink, we believe that technology needs to serve a purpose and we are using it to add magic to the magic. Simply put, we are putting to work the most innovative technologies, like 3D-printing and augmented reality, in order to present the most exquisite interactive edible experience. While there is no real magic here, our energy is dedicated to making every moment an enchantment,” wrote the Food Ink team on its website.
