Oracle Unveils Technology Suite for Public Safety
Oracle announced a new technology platform for law enforcement and first responders. The Oracle Public Safety Services platform provides unified hardware and software designed to remove data silos, eliminate manual busy-work, and empower first responders with real-time information and situational awareness to help them make more objective decisions. The suite includes a dispatch command center, law enforcement records, jail management software, body-worn devices, and real-time video communication tools.
Local government, police and sheriff’s personnel, fire and EMS professionals, and leading law enforcement technology experts created the platform in partnership with Oracle. Built on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), the suite is CJIS compliant, enabling agencies of all sizes to get up and running quickly, lower costs and complexity, and enhance security.

The suite enables first responders to act as a blended team with someone monitoring the situation remotely, helping reduce risk and increasing the likelihood of a more constructive resolution.
