PSRMini slim safety relay
Mouser Electronics is now stocking the PSRmini safety relays from Phoenix Contact. Available in the industry’s thinnest design, the 6mm- or 12mm-wide relay modules take advantage of compact and flexible force-guided contacts to offer high performance in a small space — reducing footprint up to 70 percent compared to standard relays. Offering scalability, safety, and reliable availability, PSRmini relays have been specifically optimized for use in machine building.
Phoenix Contact PSRmini safety relays, available from Mouser Electronics, contain a new elementary relay design that provides switching capacity up to 6A with low power consumption. The modules are highly compatible with many signal transmitters and safety systems and meet a comprehensive set of worldwide approvals, which allows engineers to place them in a variety of solutions. The relays require only one enabling contact (6mm versions) or two enabling contacts (12mm versions), so engineers can build cost-effective, modular applications that process numerous signals in a confined space.
Due to the modular design of PSRmini safety relays, engineers can quickly perform simple diagnostics directly at the device or the controller, allowing for shorter downtimes during scheduled maintenance phases. Additionally, the force-guided contacts enable maximum safety levels up to PL e (ISO 13849) and up to SILCL 3 (IEC 62061), depending on the application.
