Serverfarm to Present at IMN’s Provider Forum
Serverfarm, (SFR), one of the nation’s most innovative, privately owned data center developers and operators, has announced that its Vice President of Real Estate, Mario Calderone, will speak at the 7th Annual Provider Forum on Data Centers and Cloud Services Infrastructure (East), taking place June 8-9, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
This event focuses on the various challenges faced by C-level data center, colocation and cloud industry executives as well as the key factors influencing business models and investment decisions throughout the telecommunications market.
“Serverfarm has been driving innovation in its own data centers for more than a decade by developing responsive software that gives deep access to data center management and goes beyond most traditional DCIM offerings. Serverfarm combines discipline with rigorous training to drive technology delivery into its data centers,” said Rhonda Ascierto, Research Director, 451 Research.
On Friday, June 9, at 9:45am, Mr. Calderone will join industry executives from Open Data Centers, ESRI and IPR International for the Innovation Roundtable Discussion, ‘How Changes in Consumer Behavior and Technology Are Driving the Future of Data Centers and Long Term Investment Strategies’. During this session, participants will discuss the need for data centers to adapt to an evolving customer base, as well as the ways in which consumer habits are currently shifting. In addition, the roundtable will address how applications are changing the needs of data centers and share their predictions for future innovation within the colocation market.
“As an increasing number of products and services are made available throughout the telecom industry, it’s critical that data centers remain in sync with customer needs and ensure their ability to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions for data storage and management,” explained Mr. Calderone. “Understanding the habits and behaviors of data center customers will be a key differentiator in the marketplace in coming years. I look forward to exploring the ways in which providers can adapt to this evolving landscape by adopting forward-thinking investment strategies.”
