Stainless steel fanless touch panel computer

Specialist in the research, development and manufacturing of series of innovative and reliable industrial computer products of high efficiency, Axiomtek, has announced the release of GOT817L-511, a new 17” stainless steel fanless touch panel computer. Its full IP66/IP69K-rated water, dust and corrosion-proof enclosure guarantees this all-in-one industrial panel PC operability in harsh operating conditions.

Additionally, it supports a wide operating temperature range from -20 to +50°C and can withstand vibration up to 1G. The GOT817L-511 is an ideal terminal for use in food and chemical factories, pharmaceutical industry, as well as heavy-duty outdoor applications.

The GOT817L-511 supports the Intel Core i5-7300U processor (code name: Kaby Lake). The industrial panel PC has a 17” SXGA TFT flat bezel LCD display with LED backlight and 350 nits of brightness. The touch panel PC comes with the choice of a projected capacitive touchscreen or five-wire flat resistive touchscreen.

Raymond Liao, a Product Manager of IPS Product PM Division at Axiomtek, stated: “Axiomtek’s GOT817L-511 utilizes full grade 316 stainless steel, which can be applied for critical environments that require a higher level of resistance to corrosion. In addition, the 17” rugged panel computer comes with IP66 and IP69K rated enclosures, five IP66-rated M12-type I/O connectors and wide range power input of nine to 36V DC, ensuring reliable operation. This robust unit is well suited for extreme humidity, dusty or wet environments.”

The GOT817L-511 is equipped with one 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM for up to 16GB of system memory. It offers a choice of either one 2.5″ SSD HDD or one 2.5″ SATA HDD for additional storage. For extra expansion, the panel PC supports one full-size and one half-size PCI Express Mini Card slots for wireless module cards in 3G, 4G, LTE and Wi-Fi specifications. Furthermore, the 17” IP66/IP69K all-in-one touch panel PC provides a rich set of I/O interfaces with one Gigabit Ethernet (with Intel Ethernet controller I210-IT), two RS-232/422/485 and four USB 2.0 at the rear bezel. There are two options, suspension and VESA mount, for the panel computer to easily install in diverse environments. The GOT817L-511 is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 10 IoT.

Axiomtek’s GOT817L-511 is going to be available in January, 2019.
