Hate when your earbuds constantly fall out of your ears or when the wires from your headphones get tangled? A company called Pear Designs is trying to solve the issues headphone wearers face daily with a set of tiny earbuds called Pearbuds.
Pearbuds are currently the smallest Bluetooth earbuds on the market, according to the company’s Kickstarter page. Pearbuds were designed to fit comfortable and securely into a wearers ear.
Pearbuds can last up to six hours on a single charge and also come with a portable charging case so you can get another full charge in only 45 minutes. Simply put, you can pair them to your phone or iPod and start listening.
According to Pear Designs, some of the technology that makes Pearbuds so great includes:
- Balanced armature audio transducers which offer very low noise distortion, and which are optimally tuned to specific frequency ranges
- Use of the AptX codec offers a sound that CD-like quality
- A proprietary-designed module that creates ultra-low latency between both of the Bluetooth earbuds so that the sounds in each ear are identical
- An ambient noise cancellation module that drowns out all other noise while Pearbuds are in your ear so you can only hear music
The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for Pearbuds production. They have raised over $135,000 of the initial $50,000 funding goal. If you’d like to get in on the action, you can order a pair of Pearbuds for an early-bird price of $99.
