U.S.-Based China Array Plastics Earns AS9100C Certification for Wuhan, China Operation, Further Extending Services to Aerospace
China Array Plastics, a leading injection molder of PEEK, Torlon® polyamide-imide (PAI) and other ultra-polymers for the aerospace, automotive, healthcare and electronics industries, today announced that its injection molding facility in Wuhan, China received AS9100C (AS9100:2009, EN9100:2009 and JIS Q 9100:2009) certification. The certification from accredited audit firm Bureau Veritas (BV), is the quality management standard for the aviation, aerospace and defense industries. The respected firm has been a global leader in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) for over 180 years. The standard satisfies Department of Defense (DOD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) quality requirements and establishes a single quality-management system for use by the aerospace industry to qualify its suppliers.
